Section of Moor Lane to close for three days

Moor Lane will be closed from the junction with Strawberry Lane to the junction with Oak Lane for three days next week.

The closure is necessary to enable BT to carry out works to clear a blocked duct.

It is anticipated that the works will take place from Monday 13th April to Wednesday 15th April between 9.30am and 5pm.

The alternative route will be via Chapel Lane, Cumber Lane, Gravel Lane, Moor Lane and South Oak Lane.

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.

Not taken long to get the first hole in the new Moor Lane surface!! Whilst still around any chance the work people could look at the every increasing dip in Gravel Lane close to Capesthorne Avenue? Rapidly becoming a risk to vehicle suspensions.
