A Wilmslow librarian is launching a new group next month for anyone who enjoys discussing their favourite book and likes to discover and recommend new authors.
The Book Lovers Group is for those who would like to meet new people to share their love of books and reading with.
Emily Morrey explained "Book Lovers will be an informal book group, with members coming along to chat about their recent reads, recommending books to each other, as well as discussion on new and topical titles.
"Some weeks we will set a theme which the discussion will revolve around, and we will accompany the discussion with tea and biscuits. Our free launch session which will take a slightly different format as we commemorate 50 years since the death of T S Eliot with readings from his work by the fantastic Delia Corrie."
The launch of Book Lovers Group will take place on Thursday 12th February from 2.30pm to 3.15pm at Wilmslow Library. Everyone is welcome and attendance is free of charge.
