The Green Room marks their centenary next month with their season opener Present Laughter by Noel Coward kicking off the company's celebrations.
The play, a farce satirising fame, love and show business, runs from Monday 14th to Saturday 19th October 2024 with a matinee on 19th October.
The Green Room opened its doors on 30th October 1924, the same year Coward achieved his first great commercial success with The Vortex. Present Laughter, is considered one of Coward's finest works, offering the audience a glimpse into the life of Garry Essendine, a successful and self-absorbed actor who is grappling with the highs and lows of his personal and professional life.
