Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra Concert

Wilmslow Symphony orchestra's last concert of the season.

The first half of the concert is devoted entirely to the music of Tchaikovsky, beginning with his 'Marche Slave' and this is followed by Tchaikovsky's well known 'Capriccio Italien.' After the interval, Rimsky-Korsakov's ever popular 'Scheherazade,' takes centre stage. In this piece the solo violin is played exquisitely by the leader, Rosy Williams. The conductor is Stephen Threlfall who makes a welcome, return visit!

The concert is in the Evans Hall at Wilmslow Leisure Centre, starting at 7.30pm.
