Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra will be playing: The Wreckers Overture composed by Dame Ethel Smyth (1858 - 1944) who was granted a damehood, the first female composer to be so honoured! Edward Elgar's Sea Pictures, with soloist Olivia Hamblyn and finally the popular Symphonic Dances by Sergei Rachmaninov.
Robert Guy will be the conductor and Rosy Williams the leader.
At the Evans Hall at Wilmslow Leisure Centre, starting at 7.30pm.
