Wilmslow and District Rotary are holding an authentic German Carnival evening at the Deanwater Hotel, Wilmslow Road, Woodford, Cheshire, SK7 1RJ. 7pm to 11pm.
Supporting Mental Health in our Community!
There will be a sit down 2 course German meal with a choice of a beef pot roast with red cabbage and potato dumplings or a Rhenish chicken fricassee in a creamy sauce with capers, asparagus, carrots, peas and mushrooms on a bed of rice, followed by apple strudel with ice cream or 3 scoops of ice cream.
There will also be a vegetarian option of a vegetable lasagne and the bar will be serving German lager. The cost of the 2 course meal is £25.
Carnival entertainment will be provided by Christoph Hohmann, a Cologne Carnivalist who has moved to Wilmslow with his young family.
Fancy dress is encouraged, but not compulsory. However, it is not an event for formal dress, and there will be fine of £5 for suit and tie. There will be a prize for the best outfit.
Have a flutter on the charity raffle with prizes of hampers, cinema tickets etc. All proceeds going to Mental Health in our community.
