King's is one of England's great independent schools, which welcomes boys and girls aged 3 - 18 into a dynamic, stimulating and happy learning environment.
We are both an academic school, with consistently outstanding GCSE and A-Level results, as well as a school that offers a rounded education with a remarkable range of extra-curricular opportunities and experiences. Music, sport, drama, trips and expeditions are an integral part of our development as people and hence an integral part of an educational 'whole'. Extra-curricular activities offer fulfilment, enjoyment and, importantly, help to develop resilience and leadership skills.
At King's, we aim to develop lively and enquiring minds, encouraging pupils to explore, be ambitious, love learning and to participate in a full range of activities, both inside and outside the classroom. Our curriculum is designed to keep pupils engaged, challenged and eager to learn at the same time as developing pupils' skills, their thinking power and a Growth Mindset. Our pupils are confident and independent young people who are fully prepared for the challenges of the future. When they leave, they go on to study at the universities of their choice and excel in their chosen fields.
Importantly, ours is a nurturing environment, which produces happy and confident children. Our pastoral care is second to none.
Whilst we are immensely proud of our heritage, we are also a forward-looking school and will move to a new £60-million campus in the summer of 2020.
Choosing a school is likened to choosing a house and we encourage families to come and visit us to experience what makes King's such a special place. Please contact the Admissions team to book a tour: 01625 260000
