Wilmslow Artisan Market is rebranding for its forthcoming event on Sunday, 16th March, as the 'Go Wild Artisan Market'.

Organisers have joined forces with the 'Go Wild for Lauren Campaign' to help them raise awareness and realise Lauren's ambition.

Lauren Wild is a local 13-year-old girl who is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma at Manchester Children's Hospital. Lauren has decided, with the help of her family and friends, to turn this negative into a huge positive and is aiming to raise £14,000 by her 14th birthday in July - at which point she hopes to have also have completed her treatment.

The Go Wild Campaign is raising money for Manchester Childrens Hospital and Teenage Cancer trust who are both supporting Lauren through her treatment.

Lauren recently lost her hair and in true style went out and purchased a fabulous green wig. At the 'Go Wild Artisan Market' you will find lots of the Go Wild team wearing signature green wigs and hoping to generate lots of interest in the campaign. They will be providing balloons, doing face-painting and handing out pins and bands in return for donations from local people.

Denise Valente said "We hope our visitors will join us in supporting this campaign as have many of the traders at the market who have offered a range of incredible raffle prizes and percentages of their takings on the day."

Over 100 of the finest food, drink, art and craft stall holders, music, entertainment and activities will take place on Grove Street, Grove Avenue and Bank Square from 10am until 4pm on Sunday, 16th March.
