Wilmslow Police have confirmed that there has been a significant reduction in burglary crime following the spate of burglaries which occurred in August.
During August burglaries, including attempts and non house burglaries, totalled 16 but since then they have had 4 reported in September and one to date in October.
A police spokesperson said "High Visability patrols are continuing to be dispatched in the evening but we need your help to keep this reduction down by being responsible for your own security. Always lock windows and doors and put lights on when you go out in the evening, especially now the nights are drawing in earlier."
