Dean Road and Cliff Road closed for resurfacing works

Part of Dean Road, Handforth will be closed this week to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out carriageway resurfacing works at the new pedestrian crossing.

The temporary road closure will take place between Tuesday 28th until Friday 31st May.

During which time Dean Road will be a no through route from its junction with Wilmslow Road to its junction with Dean Row Road - the actual location of the works is between The Green and Hall Road.

The alternative route during the closure will be via; Station Road, Wilmslow Road, Manchester Road, Dean Row Road and Handforth Road.

Cliff Road in Wilmslow will also be closed from its junction with Styal Road to its junction with Mill Street.

The temporary road closure will take place on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out patching works.

The alternative route during the closure will be via Styal Road, Manchester Road and Mill Street.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and residents.
