An insurance company is preparing to open a branch on Alderley Road, offering a more personal service.
A-Plan Insurance will be opening their 70th high street branch in the building previously occupied by Gourmet Burger Kitchen, which closed last month after five years of trading in the town.
The business is expected to open on May 7th and will be managed by Simon Forrow who joined the company in January 2009 and will be relocating from their Guildford office.
Speaking about opening a branch in Wilmslow, Simon said "It is a fantastic area and a very nice demographic - our typical type of client. We'd like to be part of the community and I'm very much looking forward to moving up there.
"Initially there will be four members of staff, including myself, but we will be looking to develop further within a short period of time."
A-Plan Insurance has been operating since the 1960s and offers motor, home, life and health, business, marine, travel and pet insurance.
