Wilmslow Leisure Centre is closed today, Friday 1st March, as a result of a power cut.
The power failure has been caused by a fault on an underground cable outside the leisure centre. This was damaged by a third party who were carrying out excavation work.
The power went off at 10.33am and has affected 20 other customers, including some neighbouring businesses.
A spokesperson from Electricity North West said "Staff are on site and will repair the cable as quickly as possible. Power will be back on at 5pm if not before."
