A family friendly licensed cafe is set to open in the premises previously occupied by TheBoardroom on Bank Square.
The Mulberry Bush Café, which is scheduled to open in December 2012, aims to provide a solution for parents of young children in providing a quality food and beverage service along with children's play areas.
The new cafe will enable children to be entertained in a safe and secure environment within view of their parents and guardians, whilst allowing the parents to relax and enjoy refreshments, without the constant need to be chasing around after the children.
The premises will be retaining the existing alcohol licence which allows parents and guardians to have a glass of wine, champagne or a beer with their evening meal while the kids enjoy themselves in the wooden play cafe called 'Mini-Mulberry'.
Situated alongside this will be 'The Mulberry Zoo' with many soft play animals and interactive experiences to keep the little ones entertained.
The Mulberry Bush Café is the brainchild of Barry and Andrea Mason who have lived in Wilmslow for many years and have been working towards delivering this service for around 18 months.
Managing Director Barry Mason said "As parents of 2 young children and living in Wilmslow, we have always been amazed by the lack of facilities which accommodate families like ours where you can genuinely relax and keep the whole family happy.
"We are certain that the demand for this type of service is huge in an area like Wilmslow and are looking forward revitalising the premises with a successful business where our customers will want to come back time and time again for many years to come. We look forward to welcoming you in early December."
The Mulberry Bush Café will be open from 9am to 7pm Monday to Sunday. They will also cater for family celebrations and be available for private hire outside of these hours.
