New Wilmslow Garden Centre opens for business

Signage in Situe 1

The new Wilmslow Garden Centre, operated by The Klondyke Group, is now open.

A devastating fire in 2011 destroyed the original garden centre and a temporary garden centre has been in operation whilst the new facility was being built.

Wilmslow Garden Centre now includes the new Topiary Coffee Shop and Restaurant, where food is prepared daily using locally sourced ingredients whereever possible.

There is also a craft shop, clothing shop, Christmas and gift departments in addition to all the plants and garden sundries.

Excellent news for all gardeners who find this to be an excellent place for all their garden needs. I do hope that all the former departments will have reopened.

An attractive building, but to get to plants and seed you have to go through all the clothes, knick-knacks and furniture things which make it feel more like a department store than a garden centre. Do you need change of use planning permission to add all these extra things?
