Wilmslow Dean Rotary Club members celebrated a very special day last week as Tuesday, 7th October, was their 75th birthday.
To help celebrate their work in the local community, nationally and internationally, Rotary National President, John Minhinick travelled down by train from Scotland to join them for a very special dinner at the Deanwater Hotel.
Also joining Club President Ian Bradley and members were local Rotary District Governor, Robert Strachan, over 140 guests representing 22 local Rotary Clubs, business leaders, civic representatives and friends of the Wilmslow Dean Rotary Club who have supported their many local projects.
Long Service Certificates of between 25 years and 40 years were awarded during the evening to nine members of the Wilmslow Dean Rotary Club to acknowledge their dedication to the organisation and service to the local community.
