Hawthorn Lane to close for resurfacing works

Hawthorn Lane will be closed from its junction with Bank Square to its junction with Broadwalk to enable resurfacing works to be carried out.

The alternative route during the closure will be via Broadwalk, Gorsey Road, Altrincham Road, Water Lane, Alderley Road, Swan Street and Bank Square.

Pedestrian access and vehicular access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained at all times.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm from Wednesday 10th until Friday 12th October and on Monday 15th October.

I think Chapel Lane gets the prize Keisha.This has more large potholes,blocked grids.Cant remember when it last saw tarmac.Be great if the Highways took notice of our pleas.

Yes instead of resurfacing Alderley Road which seemed perfectly adequate in my opinion!

Hawthorn Lane will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday 16th October, in order that the resurfacing works can be completed.
