Resurfacing expected to cause delays in Manchester Road area

Parts of Stanneylands Road and Dean Row Road will be closed this week to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out carriageway resurfacing works at the Blue Bell Traffic Lights.

Stanneylands Road will be closed between Manchester Road and Lacey Green from Monday, 17th September, until Wednesday 19th between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm.

The alternative diversion will be via: Stanneylands Road, Station Road, Styal Road, and Manchester Road.

Dean Row Road will be closed from Manchester Road to Grason Avenue for the same period. The diversion will be via: Dean Row Road, Dean Row Link, Handforth Bypass, Mill Street and Manchester Road.

Temporary traffic lights will be at the junction with Blue Bell Garage.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents.
