Wilmslow Neighbourhood Policing Team are looking for volunteers to help them and Styal residents to reduce the speeding on Hollin Lane in Styal.
PCSO Sarah Stanley said "We are after volunteers who can commit to an hour a week to help the local Speedwatch group and local Police in Styal.
"The hour will be focused on the speeding vehicles going through the village of Styal. Two volunteers go out onto the path on Hollin Lane and use a speed gun to monitor vehicle speeds. Anyone exceeding the limit will be recorded and sent a letter advising them of the limit and that they have broken the law."
