Men needed for 1970's musical

Boogie Nights, the 1970's musical is coming to Wilmslow in November, with a score packed full of the hits of the decade.

It is a fun show with loads for cast to do, but Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company have a problem as Chairman Angela McPake explains "we have already got quite a number of cast members, old and new to us but we are really short of both men and dancers. We are really keen for anyone interested to get in touch".

The Company aren't particularly looking for men with stage experience but would love to hear from anyone who wants to give it a go.

Angela said "You need to be able to hold a tune, even if you haven't sung in public since school and only sing in the shower at the moment, be happy doing some basic movement and won't be horrified by the 1970's costumes!"

Although there is no upper or lower age limit, it is an adult company and is largely set in a nightclub so it needs to be believable. The dancers need to be able to hold a tune and, not surprisingly, be able to dance!

There are a few rehearsals left before the summer but they start seriously in September. If you are interested in joining the Boogie Nights cast, call Jennie 07765 892218 or email [email protected].
