Theatre company back in the spot light

Boogie Nights

After a year of intensive fundraising a local theatre company are delighted to announce they are back and ready to put on a new show.

Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company, formerly Alderley and Wilmslow Operatic Society, are gearing up for their production of the smash hit musical Boogie Nights in November, and they are now focussed on putting together the best cast possible.

Chairman Angela McPake said "This is an energetic fun show with a fantastic seventies soundtrack. If it was a hit in the 1970s, it's probably in this show. Whether you were shaking your stuff in the 70s or it was more your parents' era, Boogie Nights has something for everyone."

Angela added "We are looking for cast members - old and new, to join this exciting production and need both singers and dancers. There are parts available for principal characters and chorus, so if you fancy yourself heading the cast or taking more of a supporting role, if you're 16 or over we've something for you."

Potential cast members and crew are invited to their first meeting on Monday 14th May at Wilmslow Leisure Centre at 8pm.

If you would like more information beforehand, or cannot make the 14th but want to be involved, call Jennie on 07765 892218 or email [email protected].
