Thousands of runners braved the hot conditions for the 28th ASICS Wilmslow Half Marathon which took place today, Sunday 25th March.
The Wilmslow Half Marathon attracted 4117 runners who set off from Wilmslow Rugby Club for the 13.1 mile course around the country lanes of Wilmslow and Mobberley.
Each year the race attracts some of the countries leading runners, but there were also plenty of fun runners whose target was simply to complete the course and they were encouraged along the way by the crowds who turned out to support the runners and soak up the atmosphere and the sun.
