The Rotary Club of Wilmslow Dean spread their seasonal message of goodwill as they toured Handforth and Heald Green with Santa aboard the club float.
The Rotarians were assisted by Handforth Guides and the Air Training Corps Squadron 391 for their annual house to house collections which raised £3180 for local charities.
The Rotary float with Santa on board has been touring the neighbourhood at Christmas time for over 20 years, waving to children as they watch out their bedroom windows.
Rotarian Bernard Davies said "The Club wish to give a big thank you to the residents for their generosity and to the helpers."
Money raised from this year's collection will be allocated to local charities following a meeting of the Charity Committee in the new year.
