Mill Street in Wilmslow will be closed overnight this weekend to allow for an inspection to be carried out on the railway bridge.
The works are planned to commence at 23.00 on Saturday, 20th August, and remain in place until 0.700 on Sunday morning.
The alternative route for all traffic will be via Manchester Road (B5166), Manchester Road(C467), Dean Row Road(C462), Handforth By Pass(A34) and vice versa.
