Appeal following serious collision in Wilmslow

Two 19-year-old men are in a serious condition in hospital after a road traffic collision in Wimslow.

Police were called to A538 Altrincham Road at 1.21am on Saturday, 9th July, where a silver Ford Focus had collided with a tree just north of the junction with Mobberley Road.

The car had been travelling along Altrincham Road in the direction of Hale Barns when it left the road and colliding with a tree.

As a result of the collision the driver, a 19 year old man from the Timperley area received serious injuries and was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital. The front seat passenger, a 19 year old man also from the Timperley area also received serious injuries and is currently being treated at Hope Hospital in Salford. The back seat passenger, a 34-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
