Following the recent fire at Wilmslow Garden Centre, the company is pleased to inform customers that the outdoor plant area at the centre will continue to trade with a limited offer.

On site concessions Rainbow Play Equipment, Cheshire Spas and Swimming Pools and solar panel company The Big Green Company are also currently operational.

Bob Hewitt, Chief Executive of the Klondyke Group said "We are delighted to be able to continue providing a quality plant selection for our customers.

"The company would like to take the opportunity to thank all customers for their kind comments and support following the incident."

The huge fire which devastated the centre on Wednesday, 29th June, is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault. As a result, four large greenhouses were completely burnt out and at the height of the incident 70 firefighters tackled the blaze.

The company are unable to provide any information at this stage regarding future plans for Wilmslow Garden Centre, but in the meantime garden centre products and coffee shop facilities are available from their other centres in the area; Brookside Garden Centre in Stockport, High Legh Garden Centre in Knutsford and Astbury Meadow Garden Centre in Congleton.
