Wilmslow Methodist Church are holding a Spring Festival on Sunday, June 12th, at Little Lindow.

The event is being organised by Judith Parr, the Children and Family Worker at the church, and everything apart from the food will be free.

Judith said "The event grew out of our annual Family Fun Day which we've held for the last 3 years. This year we wanted to provide something that would reach more than just families. For us, the reason behind the festival is to share a bit of what we're about with the community, and as a gift.

"We picked this particular day because it is a special day in the church calendar - Pentecost Sunday which is a day to remember the Holy Spirit and the start of the church. The day will start with a short child-friendly, interactive service on the main stage area, followed by lots of activities and entertainment."

Entertainment will be provided throughout the day along with bouncy castles, a mini Olympics, BBQ, a cake stall and arts and crafts.

Judith added "We'd love people come come along, bring your garden chairs or a picnic rug and just enjoy the afternoon - there will be plenty to do for all ages."

The Spring Festival will start at 11am and continue through to 3pm at Little Lindow, which is next to the fire station on Altrincham Road.
