Audio-visual group hold their annual Fiesta

The Wilmslow Guild Audio-Visual Group will be holding their annual show on March 4th and 5th.

Each year the group hold the 'Fiesta' at the Guild, which is a public show to air their work and publicise the art of Audio-Visual. The focus of the evening is entertainment – so you will enjoy it whether or not you are interested in the technicalities.

Howard Gregory, Chairman of Wilmslow Guild A-V Group, said "Digital photography means that more people than ever are taking photos, and the advent of the home computer, together with the spread of image-manipulation software, means that many people are realising that the picture they take is not just an end in itself; it can be the beginning of something more creative. We may be biased, but we believe that audio-visual is the ultimate expression of such creativity.

"Audio-Visual is the art of combining sound with pictures to make a sequence, or story, which can be about any subject under the sun. As in any branch of the Arts, the concept and the imagination, expertise (and patience!) of the producer is far more important than the equipment."

Tickets may be picked up at the Guild, or ordered by post from Suzanne Walker on 01925 753303.
