The cast of CHYPS (Cheshire Youth Pantomime Society) brought some colourful panto fun to Sainsbury’s in Wilmslow today, Sunday 28th November, to raise important funds for this year’s show.
Twenty of the cast took part at various times of the day helping to pack customer's shopping in full pantomime costume. This included special appearances from Peter Pan, Cinderella, Princess Jasmine, Captain Hook, a Dame and even a Pantomime Horse.
Ian Hunt, CHYPS Chairman, organised the event and said “We are so grateful to Sainsbury’s for providing us with this opportunity and to the huge generosity of their customers.
"We were able to raise over £500, which is so important to us in helping to stage another high quality show in January. This year we are performing Cinderella. Rehearsals are going really well and this year’s show will be stunning.”
