Sainsbury's in Wilmslow supported Children in Need again this year by raising £1244 in store on Friday, November 19th.

Maddi and her team from Body-Blitz bootcamp, along with shop staff, kept two exercise bikes going continuously from 10am until 6pm. Meanwhile other members of staff bathed in custard to raise money for BBC Children in Need, which will help change the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.

Shoppers were also entertained with Tannoy Bingo, a guess the weight of the cake competition and a tombola. Local cub scouts joined in the fundraising activities by packing the customers shopping bags.

Steve Morris, Manager at Sainsbury's, said "A huge thank you to all colleagues and customers who in these difficult times came and supported this great fun day."
