Wilmslow Town U9 Panthers beat the odds

U10 Panthers

Whatever the odds of getting the same result two weeks running, against the same opposition, Towns U9 Panthers beat them notching up 15 again without reply against Alderley United.

Carrying on where they left off last week the players on the score sheet this week were Kennedy and Rycroft, each with a hat trick, Larbalestier (2), Martin (2), Casson and Flemming. Not to be outdone with the high scoring, the U9 Jaguars also reached double figures again against Wythenshawe Amateurs. Making his debut for the team, McEwan-Patterson started his season with a hat trick. Also scoring were Man of the Match Williams (4), Birchall (2), White and Vitale.

A goal mouth scramble allowed Higginson from the U10 Panthers to score the only goal of their away game at NJ Wythenshawe Juniors. A high pressure game saw both sides working hard but great concentration and determination from the team kept the score line 1-0 to the Panthers.

Despite missing two players this week the U12 Panthers travelled confidently to Timpereley Athletic for the return of last week’s fixture. Another week, another win, this week increasing the number of goals scored to a 9 - 2 final score. Keeping the match reporter busy were Short (3), Harris (2), McKew (2), Strang and Murphy.

It may be early in the season but the U16’s 100% record is just the start they needed. Playing Timperley Villa again, the 6 - 3 score saw them add an extra goal this week. There was a hat trick for Kirk with the raming goals thanks to Fallows (2) and Holmes. For full match reports, see the Wilmslow Town web site.
