Plans have been submitted to enable a children's martial arts academy to open in Lacey Green.

Planning permission is being sought for the change of use of a former printing factory which is currently vacant.

No external building works will be carried out whilst internally only a partitioning wall will be put in place to separate an area for an existing tenant to use for storage.

The proposed opening hours are 5pm to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12noon on Saturdays.

The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Planning Portal by searching for planning reference 24/0837M.

The word children’s academy is misleading and only use in context to
Soften the impact with planning. The applicants own Facebook posts
Discride it as a karate club all ages gym boot camp weights room coffee
Area and much much more . The old printworks has a small car park and
Single car excess. This will mean extra cars being parked along Lacey Green which already has parking and pavement parking problems.
I would think as a minimum the council should be looking in to is a highways
And traffic impact statement .
