Reader's Photos: A wander around Wilmslow

Pete Taylor kindly sent us these photos taken on Tuesday, 26th September, during a walk around the town.

He said "I had a wander around Wilmslow this morning. On my travels I saw two herons, a trout and several English Long Horn cattle. None of these are in the photos!"

If you would like your photos of Wilmslow and the surrounding area to be considered for publication on wilmslow.co.uk then please email them to [email protected].

Great reflection of our fantastic town, thanks Pete.

Its a pity the Concrete of Green Spaces brigade (COGS) in our town would prefer this to be all developed.

Great pictures Pete and as Nick Jones says above, shame the concrete brigands do not see their future in Wilmslow this way. Their Wilmslow vision will be a mass of concrete development which will have rewarded them £millions.
Wilmslow's loss, their mega gains!

I am always struck at how beautiful parts of Wilmslow are, - and yet how little is done to promote it. It also has proximity to a wide range of stately homes, easy access to Alderley Edge and Tegg's Nose Country Park and then you can go over the top to Buxton. All this and close to an ever expanding airport. If it had capitalised on Lindow Man and had a permanent exhibition and trail that would have further enhanced its potential. Marketing and tourism opportunities lost.
