Following several reports over recent months of a man dressed in women's underwear around the Bollin Valley area, there has been an additional siting this morning, Friday 3rd February.
A police spokesperson said "He was seen at around 10.30am this morning in ladies' underwear (black bra and knickers) in a field near where the River Dane meets the River Bollin. He also stood by Styal Road near the treatment works.
She added "He appeared to leave his clothes in the bushes which he changed back into (long grey shorts and a black t-shirt) and then rnade off to a black VW Golf which was parked in the Carrs car park. He was seen driving off towards Wilmslow."
Investigations in relation to this incident are currently ongoing, but it is suspected that it is linked to previous incidents involving a man acting suspiciously in the Wilmslow area and the police are keen to trace the person responsible.
