Residents are urged to be vigilant after three properties within the Wilmslow area were targeted by burglars overnight.
Firstly, a property on Church Road Handforth was broken into. Offenders managed to get some car keys that were left on the window ledge just inside the front door and made off in a VW Golf.

Secondly offenders gained entry to a property on Twinnies Road, Wilmslow by forcing a front window. They stole some car keys taken but the vehicle was not taken.

Meanwhile in Lacey Green there was an attempted burglary, however three men were disturbed whilst trying to enter a downstairs window.

PCSO Gareth Harding said "Once again I remind you not to leave keys and valuables on show or leave windows open whilst you are out of the property and do not advertise when you are planning on going on holiday. An advertised empty house is an invitation for a burglary to occur."
