Jewellery stolen in Handforth burglary

Police officers are appealing for information after a quantity of jewellery was stolen from a property in Handforth.

The burglary occurred at an address on Dean Road sometime between 5.30pm and 8.30pm on Monday 21st November.

Following the incident PC Steve Davenport said: "I'm keen to hear from anyone who was in the local area at the time of this incident and believes that they may have seen anything suspicious.

"I'd also like to take this as an opportunity to remind people to ensure that their homes are secure at all times, especially over the Christmas period.

"Simple steps like having you lights on a timer and not leaving valuables on display can all help to ensure that you are less likely to become a victim of crime."

Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 995 of 21/11/15, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
