Kennerleys Lane will be closed, from the junction with Waters Lane to the junction with Hawthorn Park, for a week.
The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out repairs to the collapsed carriageway.
It is anticipated that the works will take place from Tuesday 11th August to Monday 17th August between 8am and 4pm.
The alternative route will be via Water Lane, Alderley Road, Green Lane and Hawthorn Lane.
Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency and resident's vehicles will be maintained where possible.
