Following the recent closure of a lighting shop on Alderley Road, planning permission has been granted to change the use of the premises to dual/alternative use.

This will enable 54 Alderley Road to continue to be used for retail or alternatively be used for medical consulting and diagnostics.

HCA International, who opened a private hospital at 52 Alderley Road last year, submitted the planning application. They have also been granted a change of use for the first and second floors of 56 Alderley Road to dual/alternative use. These can now continue to be used for offices or alternatively for medical consulting and diagnostics use.

The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council website by searching for planning reference 14/5851M.
