Church Street will be closed this weekend from its junction with Swan Street to the junction with Mill Street.
The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out resurfacing works.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between 6pm and 11pm on Saturday 25th October and 8am and 5pm on Sunday 26th October.
The alternative route will be via the following streets: - Manchester Road A538/B5166, Manchester Road Roundabout A538, Mill Street and Swan Street
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
