Is work being caried out on the damaged fencing under the railway bridge?
It would be good to know exactly why the whole of that section of road will be closed as it is quite an inconvenience to local residents who may be going only as far as Waitrose, for example, and will add miles instead of yards onto their journey

Is there a more dangerous piece of road in Wilmslow ?
Narrow road, Bridge, Footpath crossing (not clearly marked ) from leisure centre side to train station (used frequently by High School students) , Footpath narrowly protected by railings under the bridge,( not where the red hot chilli peppers got the name for their song . I'm sure !! )...Then throw into the mix.......a nearby Pelican Crossing and a ridiculous Give way priority system,(that has resulted in more bent steel railings than Uri Geller could ever dream of manipulating )... alongside numerous 'near miss; collisions and road rage incidents.........
Something more than re surfacing and 'more of the same', is required here.......Lets see what happens.
