Have you finished your A-levels and are looking for your next step on a career ladder?

Have you a passion to work in a dynamic office environment which is quick-paced, hard-working and fun?

If the answer to the above is yes, then a career in recruitment might be for you.

Due to the expansion of the contract recruitment division at Venturi, we are looking for an apprentice to learn all aspects of the recruitment industry.

Qualifications aren't necessarily what were looking for; we're more interested in someone who has a great personality and a desire to succeed.

You must be willing to learn everything about the recruitment industry and undergo intense training both internally and externally.

Our training is some of the best in the industry. We believe in nurturing talent from the very first day and also have professional coaches who come in on a regular basis and work with you in groups and one-on-one.

Where salary is concerned, we don't pay the standard rate like the majority of other apprenticeships schemes. Our pay rate for apprentices really is the best there is.

We do work hard at Venturi. However, we play hard also. One week you could find yourself GoKarting on an away day, another week, you could be in the Phones4U arena at a concert.

Case Study

Lewis Blades joined Venturi in May 2013 after seeing an advertisement for an apprenticeship. As Wilmslow was close to his home, he decided to apply.

He says "I didn't know the first thing about recruitment. The lady from the apprenticeship agency talked me through what it was all about and I decided to go for it."

"When I was invited for interview, I researched the company website and it looked like a place I would like to work, even my mum and dad were impressed."

"I was interviewed by three senior consultants and then the managing director. Even though I was really nervous, it was friendly and they made me feel welcome."

"It wasn't long after, I got the call to say that I had got the job."

"The one thing that always sticks out in my mind about my first week at Venturi was how helpful everyone was and I was told from day one that 'There is no such thing as a stupid question.'"

Lewis finished his training in March this year and was promoted to trainee just 10 months after he started.

He says "I feel that the apprenticeship has made me more professional. I have boosted my skill-set and also gained a lot of technical knowledge."

"I've worked very closely with the three seniors on the permanent recruitment team and feel like I have learned a lot from their working practices."

"It's weird to think that not even a year ago, I was pulling pints and now I have got a career that I can see myself doing long-term and I am doing something I really enjoy."

If you feel you have got what it takes and would benefit from one of our recruitment apprenticeships, get in touch.
