When the top-rating Dancing On Ice TV series came to an end, professional skater Sylvain Longchambon had no doubts what he wanted to do.
The French ice-skating sensation has set up his own personal training company based in Handforth. Sylvain will either train you at your own gym, or home or at the Fit 4 Less Gym at Handforth Dean.
The skater from Lyon, who now lives in Wilmslow, said "Working out is something I really love, I enjoy doing it as fitness is my passion."
The move into personal training was a natural progression for Sylvain. From a young boy, he always trained in gyms and became professionally qualified ten years ago.
Sylvain added "It was a natural extension of the gym training I did. When not on the ice, I used the gym to build my strength."
Like millions of viewers, Sylvain was sad to see Dancing on Ice come to an end. "I really enjoyed being a part of the programme, I had been competing for 15 years and it was great to do something different on television. We had great fun."
However, the Gallic charmer is never far from the headlines as his girlfriend is Coronation Street actress Samia Ghadie, who plays Maria.
The charming Frenchman moved to the North West three years ago and has really put down his roots.
"I love living in Wilmslow" he said "It's near the countryside but it's not too far from the city. It's like a small community and everyone knows each other."
Sylvain also offers personal ice skating lessons on request.
