Wilmslow Town U10 Lions completed a magnificent first season winning the Timperley & District U10 Group 9 Cup Final, 5 - 0 against Unicorn Athletic Phantoms at Trafford FC on Sunday.
Olly Fish scored 2, Jamie Langslow scored 1, Rafay Asghar scored 1 and Fabio Stubbs rounded off the scoring. Olly Fish was awarded Man of the Match. The team also won their league this season.
Coach Wayne Fish-Head commented "This group of boys only came together in September and have grown in skill and confidence. Having lost to this team the previous weekend, they really focused on the task today and did everything I asked of them. They played some great football. I am immensely proud and what a fantastic first season."
At the end of season awards Harry Brown was awarded Manager's Player of the season with the Players' Player being Oscar Duffy.
