Scouts and beavers raise funds for Animal Sanctuary

During the last term, Beavers and Scouts from 6th Wilmslow have carried out some fund raising activities, in aid of Wilmslow Animal Sanctuary.

The Beavers took part in a sponsored indoor assault course, where they completed 'laps' of the course in order to raise money. They managed to raise £15, which was donated during a visit to the Animal Sanctuary on Saturday 12th April.

Additionally, the Scouts were packing bags in Sainsbury's on Good Friday which raised over £600 for the Animal Sanctuary.

Mark Pepper, 6th Wilmslow Beaver Scout Leader, said "We are very pleased to support such a worthy charity, that does such wonderful work with the animals."
