A children's shoe and accessories boutique is the latest Wilmslow shop to announce its closure, after 15 months of trading in the town centre.

Wilmslow resident Andi Lee opened Tiny Soles on Grove Street in December 2012. Yesterday he posted a message on Facebook saying "It's with great sadness that we are to announce Tiny Soles is closing down. We have a massive closing down sale starting tomorrow at 10am.

"We would like to thank all our loyal customers for supporting us whilst we have been trading. We hope you will pop in, if not for a bargain then at least to say goodbye."

Andi told wilmslow.co.uk "We are not closing for financial reasons but because we have had issues with the landlord over problems with the premises and he wasn't willing to negotiate."

There have been a number of changes in Wilmslow this year with the closure of Yogberries, Hullabaloo Toys, Margarita Lounge, Claires', Shalimar Indian Restaurant, Ten Little Monkeys and Lucy's with Love. Jane Shilton is also preparing to close after decades of trading in the town.

Whilst new additions include The Sweet Shop which opened on Parsonage Green this week. Next week Barkers, a brand new shop exclusively for dogs, will open in the former Blockbusters store on Alderley Road and The Old Dancer will open on Grove Street.

Also, as announced on wilmslow.co.uk yesterday, tearooms and a 1920s bar have been granted planning permission and plan to open in the former Simon Dunn shop in the summer.
