A new sweet shop is opening in the town centre next week, in the premises previously occupied by Hullabaloo Toys.
The Sweet Shop is privately owned by Alderley Edge resident Stewart White, whose former occupation was Football Marketing Manager at Nike.
Founded in 2011, Stewart currently has shops in The Trafford Centre and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village. They also provide pop-up sweet shops for all events hosted at Event City and have six sweet concessions in Card Express stores.
He plans to open three more of the traditionally themed shops this year, selling a wide selection of sweets and chocolates as well as a selection of sugar free, gluten free and dairy free products.
Stewart told wilmslow.co.uk "I have been interested in opening up a shop in Wilmslow for a while but have waited to find the right premises and believe the one we have chosen is perfect for us. We feel that Wilmslow has a great community vibe about it and is a great place to shop and eat."
They have not set a specific date as yet but The Sweet Shop is planning to open at 48 Parsonage Green early next week.
