Established by Sophie Garner and based in Alderley Edge, AniMates understands that your dog is precious to you and that offering a service that is specifically tailored to you and your dog is of the utmost importance.
AniMates is fully insured with the National Association of Registered Petsitters (NARP) and therefore follows the guidelines set by them. This means that AniMates cannot walk more than 4 dogs at a time. Additionally each dog is kept on a lead at all times, unless the owner specifies it is ok to be let off in safer areas. AniMates also holds individual cages designed by the leading manufactures Lintran as per the DEFRA guidelines and used by the British Transport Police and the RSPCA.
"We believe that taking more than 4 dogs at a time can be unsafe", explains Sophie. "Therefore AniMates walks on a one-to-one basis up to groups of no more than 4 dogs at a time, which is safer and also gives them the attention that they deserve."
Naturally AniMates principal service is dog walking, which can be either one-to-one or in small groups of the same size and behavior. They also offer home visits, which last around 20 to 30minutes and are great for puppies, elderly dogs or if you have to work late one day. Their dog taxi service is also brilliant and means that they can take your dog to the vets, friend's house or any location within Cheshire.
