Anne and Alison Brander were both award winners at the Association of Community Theatre Awards held at The Cresta Court, Altrincham on Saturday, 16th November.
Anne, who is the Senior Student Manager at Wilmslow High School, won "Secretary of the Year" for her position as Secretary of TEMPO Youth Theatre.
Her daughter Alison, a former Wilmslow High student who is an Animal Care Co-ordinator at Wilmslow Animal Sanctuary, won "Most Accomplished Actress in a Musical" for her role as Debs in Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company's production of 'Boogie Nights'.
Both are passionate about musical theatre and keeping it alive in the local area for all to enjoy.
TEMPO's next production is 'Grease' which will be performed at the Evans Theatre, Wilmslow in March 2014 and Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company will be showcasing 'Magic of the Musicals 2' in April 2014.
