Finn Youth Productions are to return to their base at Pownall Hall Theatre for the curtain opener of their 2013/14 season.

'Dynamite From Nightmare Town', written by Luke Gilfedder, is the third original play by the group, and aims to follow up on the success of previous originals 'The Last Cowboy of Wilmslow' and 'That's Jam'.

The show takes the form of an interview with powerful entrepreneur Mr Barcane (played by Angus Macalister). Up-and-coming journalist Patrick Constantinople is flown over from a conference in Nice to urgently investigate strange reports surrounding Barcane's Wilmslow manor, and to get to know the man behind the mystery – before it's too late!

Angus Macalister believes 'Dynamite' is a great way to open the new season in Wilmslow and may be one of the best shows Finn Youth have done since That's Jam at the Royal Exchange.

He said "We had a bit of a break over summer, one of Luke's scripts was on at the Lyric Hammersmith in London and we used that to take a bit of rehearsal time and get ready for a show like this. It's a really strong script, like a mix between Citizen Kane and Scream, and a great way to open our season in Pownall.

"I think our loyal crowd and newcomers alike will really enjoy it. It's our 12th show now, our 6th in Pownall Hall, and its great for audiences to keep watching us there as it's a brilliant theatre, the best we can ever perform in."

Written and directed by Luke Gilfedder, 'Dynamite From Nightmare Town' will be on at Pownall Hall School Theatre on Friday 25th October, the performance will start at 8pm. Bookings can be made by calling 07597 439 331.
