Fire station opens its doors for family fun

Firefighters welcomed members of the public to their open day at Wilmslow Fire Station on Saturday, 14th September, where they offered something for the whole family.

The firefighters put on a range of demonstrations for visitors, including a chip pan fire, rope rescues and a road traffic collision.

As you can see from the photos above, the littles ones had a great time and particularly enjoyed the vintage and modern fire engines - as well as the ice-cream of course.
