John Dwyer is inviting people to come and discuss policing issues with him face-to-face.

The Police Commissioner will be available at Wilmslow Library on Tuesday 23rd July from 2pm to 4pm.

John Dwyer said "Surgeries provide a more confidential setting. If there is an important policing issue which you are concerned about, please make an appointment and use this opportunity to discuss it with me.

"The information that I receive from the public, helps me to hold the Chief Constable to account on their behalf. "

The Commissioner is travelling across the county, holding public surgeries in the Eastern, Western and Northern parts of the county. This is the second batch of surgeries he's held in East Cheshire since coming into office in November.

Anyone who wishes to attend the surgery can book an appointment by calling 01606 364000 or registering your attendance online at www.cheshire-pcc.gov.uk.

The PCC web link doesn't work and there doesn't appear to be a news section on their website. Maybe it's a ruse to keep us from asking questions :)
